MLK Day of Service

To celebrate MLK Day this past Monday the 19th, HOPE worldwide North River chapter volunteers enjoyed the opportunity to help create a beloved community within 3 local apartment complexes as they shared food, clothing, MLK books & coloring pages, as well as ESL packets and lots of smiles. Dr. King defined the beloved community as "a community where all people are respected, cared for, and treated as equals, and where there is no space for injustice, prejudice, or discrimination." We all can be a part of making MLK's dream become a reality everywhere!
