July Youth Villages Birthday Heroes

Things happened fast for our Birthday Heroes on Saturday, July 25th! You place a cupcake, ice cream, and a drink before a child, and like magic… it is gone! The children are so ready and excited for these celebrations! Each month our North River HOPE Chapter volunteers host birthday parties for the elementary age children at Youth Villages in Douglasville, GA, who are celebrating a birthday within that month. Volunteers take with them games, stories, activity pages, treats, and simple gifts for the birthday child. Not only does it become a wonderful, special time for the children, but the Birthday Heroes love making friends with the children as well!
