July Birthday Heroes Celebration

The Birthday Heroes on Saturday, July 26th, filled the lobby at Youth Villages in Douglasville, Georgia! A total of four parties were given, and two children celebrated their July birthday! The parties begin with interactive games and many times are played more than once! Jumping over a masking tape line when "yes" or "no" was said sounds simple, but it brought many laughs and at the end of the game there we heard repeatedly, “Can we do it again?!”

After the games, we read stories together to add some quiet and personal time with the Birthday Heroes and the children. A first time volunteer made the statement at the end of the day, “My passion to help has multiplied!” Once you volunteer, you see the children’s need and appreciation for the Birthday Heroes! Please consider joining us! For those who follow our monthly stories, we did not let the cupcake frosting melt this month!
